Our Story

We started White Spire because we kept seeing the same problem. Organisations facing real compliance pressure in sustainability reporting, process complexity, and finance consolidation were getting advice that was technically correct but practically unworkable. Frameworks without implementation. Reports without ownership. Systems without teams that understood them.

We come from finance and governance backgrounds. Between us we've worked across manufacturing, medtech, life sciences, and global technology firms, in environments where audit trails matter, controls matter, and the work has to stand up to scrutiny.

White Spire is built on a simple belief: the best outcomes come from within. Our job is to give your team the structure, tools, and confidence to own the work. Not to create a dependency on us.

A Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with an MBA and PMP certification, Ciara brings over 20 years of experience across finance, sustainability, and complex project delivery. She has worked with clients ranging from Irish SMEs to some of the world's most recognised brands, particularly in manufacturing, medtech, and global supply chains.

Ciara leads ESG and carbon reporting projects with a focus on clarity, structure, and business alignment. She sits on multiple boards and chairs the Sustainability Committee for Galway Chamber, where she champions practical, business-led sustainability.

She’s known for making compliance accessible and actionable. Ciara believes the best outcomes come from within. When internal teams are empowered with the right tools, guidance, and confidence to deliver, the results last.

John Hynes

Director, Finance & AI · FCCA, B.Com, H.Dip, M.Sc

A Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with a B.Com, M.Sc. in IT in Accounting, and an H.Dip in Strategy and Innovation, John brings over 25 years of experience in finance leadership, corporate governance, and business transformation.

He has spent his career making complex financial and governance structures work for the people inside them. His expertise spans multi-jurisdictional entity management, revenue operations, cross-border regulatory compliance, and large-scale finance transformation across international operations.

 

He now applies that same rigour to mid-market organisations, automating consolidation, improving process foundations, and building finance capability that scales.
